It also acts as an internet gateway for the T2, allowing you to control the system with the SmartLife app.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eThe R2 connects wirelessly to the T2 thermostat and receives control commands from the T2 to turn the heating on or off.
