The new Smart EV Charger from Huawei is an advanced and safe AC charging solution for electric vehicles. With dynamically adjustable charging speeds, smart functions, and connectivity options, it offers convenience and efficiency. A major advantage of the charging station is that it fits perfectly into the Huawei ecosystem and communicates with the existing solar system. This allows you to use power generated by your panels directly to charge the electric car instead of drawing it from the LUNA home battery. The 3-phase variant can also be used single-phase.
For solar charging and load balancing, you need an energy meter:
- In combination with a Huawei inverter (new or existing under certain conditions) with DDSU666-H or DTSU666-H(W). A Dongle WLAN/FE is always required.
- In combination with an inverter from another brand or without PV (standalone Charger) using the DTSU666-FE.
It is not advisable to install two Huawei meters (FE meter & RS485 meter) simultaneously. This applies, for example, if you already have an 'EnFluRi' meter for your battery (Belgium, see Synergrid regulations).
